Cardinal business

According to a report today at Vatican Insider, “The Pope will meet with the three-man commission of inquiry into the Vatileaks affair at the beginning of next week. The Pope will thank them for the work they have done for the good of the Church...”

It’s interesting to note that two of the three cardinals, Julian Herranz (Spain) and Josef Tomko (Slovakia), also serve on the Vatican Commission investigating the Medjugorje phenomenon which is meeting in Rome today (Friday) and perhaps even during this weekend.

Three other cardinals serve on the Medjugorje Commission: Cardinal Camillo Ruini (Italy), Josip Bozanic (Croatia) and Vinko Puljic (Bosnia Herzegovina), pictured right.

It was reported on Thursday by the Zagreb Diocese press office that Cardinal Bozanic is due to attend the Medjugorje Commission meeting arranged for today.
